The pathfinder smock is made from breathable 50/50 Polycotton Ripstop material. All buttons are tape-sewn in Canadian style, all zippers are YKK brand quality. The smock comes with a soft mesh liner. An additional soft waterproof and windproof fleece liner is available and can be zipped in. The smock fits easily over a BDU-type uniform as an all-seasons outer shell
Over the two chest pockets, loop Velcro tapes allow for attachment of name and branch tapes. Both front skirt pockets have a zipper on the outer side to form additional handwarmer pockets. On both upper sleeves additional zippered pocket can hold smaller items. Their face is equipped with a patch of loop Velcro so IR patches, unit insignia, etc. Can be Attached. Panels in smock color and two roll-down tabs are supplied to mask your Velcro patches. Under the waist drawstring tunnel, protected by a buttoned flap on the rear skirt, a horizontal zipper gives access to a large poacher pocket that easily takes a folded sweater, poncho liner, tarp, etc. On the inside rear skirt of the smock, two additional pockets allow for even more storage space.
